Black and White Spider
Awards
is an organization for the advancement of black and white photography. Our
aim is to bring photographers from all corners of the globe
together with leading industry figures to participate in a unique annual
celebration of this classic art-form.
By selecting the best eyes
in the industry to judge and jury the most expressive and creative
photographs, we hope to inject a fresh artistic vision into the world of
photography honors.
The Awards benefit
Amnesty International and Art For Disabled Children - a charity
introducing children and young adults to the wonderful world of
photography through the "My First Camera" program and the
"Masters of Photography
International Charity Exhibition". This year's exhibition took
place in Brazil with all profits and donations benefiting
Associação Paranaense para o Desinvolvimento do Potencial Humano (APADEH),
a day school in the heart of
Curitiba, the capital of Brazil's southern
state of Paraná. Established
in 1987, the school provides an education for children with learning
difficulties.
Please join us and help
bring to light greater black and white photography for all.
