Biography: Photography is my primary way of interacting with the world around me. It allows me to focus on the things I love most: quiet places of beauty and of wonder, and tiny little bits of extraordinary beauty hidden openly in the vast sea of the ordinary. As our world is increasingly impacted by ever-larger populations, by climate change, and by invasive species creating monocultures where once were unique local plant and animal communities, it feels ever more critical to find these bits of wonder and beauty and to help others see them too.
