Refugees wait for tea at Sheik Yasin camp, Mardan, Pakistan. More than two million refugees have poured out of Swat Valley as the Pakistan army launched a massive operation to eliminate Taliban militants, after the breakdown of a peace deal in early May 2009. The exodus of refugees is the Pakistan's largest since the Partition in 1947.

Biography: Edwin is a freelance photojournalist from Singapore, currently based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is represented by US-based ZUMA Press agency and has been published in Stern, Geo Germany, Global Post, Rhythms (Taiwan) and Asia! (Singapore). His works has won him 1st place in Feature Picture Story category in 2009 Atlanta Photojournalism Awards and also 3rd place in UNICEF Photo of the Year Award. Last year, his works on Tibetan refugees and Swat Valley crisis were chosen by UNHCR for exhibition in Nepal. He has also held a joint exhibition called "Bahini: Life of my Sisters" showcasing...
