I work with the journey we are all on; in a figurative mode of expression, conveying a meaning other than the literal; using symbolic figures, actions or places, my landscapes. The images I create evoke a world where the viewer is free to explore with his or her own emotions and awareness, a drama unbeknownst but to them, their journey – Along the Way.

Biography: Robb Johnson is creating an ongoing body of work, Along the Way, comprised of allegorical landscapes. They depict a part of the reality we all create, which is 'our stage', where we live our lives, our journey, our play. The images he creates evoke a world where the viewer is free to explore with his or her own emotions and awareness, a drama unbeknownst but to them. His work has been featured in B&W Magazine Spotlight, and B&W's Single Image. He was in Silvershotz folio 2008 and 2009 and has had solo shows at Joseph Bellows Gallery & Weston Gallery along with numerous group shows and awards.
