"Painted Petals"
I wanted to show the contrast between the petal and the end of the petal. It looked almost as if the petal had been dipped in to paint and had splashed a little on the edges. I wanted to show the ‘sprayed’ effect as it is very unique to this type of flower. I love the way you can still see the centre texture of the flower head and just a slight impression of the stem.
