Biography: I was born in 1967. I began my career as a theatre and portrait photographer, later moving into reportage. Between 2001 – 2004 I worked for an NGO in Sao Paulo teaching young people from the favelas – mainly pinhole. I have since worked for NGO’s in Ethiopia, South Africa and Sao Tomé. Lisbon has been my permanent home since 2007 where I work from my studio and darkroom in the old city centre.
