Biography: Photography has been central to my creative practice from my earliest years, having been raised in an artistic family amidst Iceland’s remarkable natural environments. What first developed into commercial photography practice over time became a personal artistic vision. I am drawn to the shore when seeking stillness and have explored the formal expressions of the tranquil sea: the ocean’s variegated surfaces; the horizon’s unflinching, linear perfection.
