USA Nominee Fine Art Professional "Ghost Dog" On the sand dunes in Ventura, CA this eerie phantom dog appeared. From the "Strange Beauty" series. Gizara’s photo series “Surreal Escapes” was shown at The Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City. Gizara’s artwork has appeared in many notable films, television series & commercials. Three paintings appear in Roger Sterling’s office on AMC’s Mad Men, & helped to set the 1960's stylistic tone for the season. Gizara and the Mad Men paintings were featured in a Huffington Post article entitled “The Woman Behind the Art Behind the Mad Men,” & in Newsweek & Angeleno Magazine. Actors Jennifer Lawrence and Bruce Dern have Gizara’s photographs & paintings in their private collections. |
