In a magical place in the Sequoia National Forest, this tree stood alone. From the "Surreal Escape" series.
Biography: Gizara’s photo series “Surreal Escapes” was shown at The Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City. Gizara’s artwork has appeared in many notable films, television series & commercials. Three paintings appear in Roger Sterling’s office on AMC’s Mad Men, & helped to set the 1960's stylistic tone for the season. Gizara and the Mad Men paintings were featured in a Huffington Post article entitled “The Woman Behind the Art Behind the Mad Men,” & in Newsweek & Angeleno Magazine.
