"Fog and Steel"
The first tendrils of mid-day fog creep through the Golden Gate.
Tom Sliter began moving his photography from hobby to fine art 3 years ago, concentrating on black and white. Among his earliest inspirations were the works of Ansel Adams and the Westons for their mastery of composition and the subtleties of grayscale and Margaret Bourke-White for the boldness and beauty she portrayed in man’s creations.
One of his current projects examines the way light interacts with man-made objects. He also enjoys marine photography.
