Photojournalism - Professional

Tatyana Bessmertnaya

Morgue: the air is stagnant; the equipment thick and heavily used metal.

Biography: I was born in Ukraine, studied in Novosibirsk University, Russia and later worked as a practical psychologist in a municipal organization providing social help. After moving to the USA in 1999 I switched my trade to photography. Although I position myself as an artist and continue to make and show artwork, since 2007 I began extending my practice to medical field. Beside regular job I had opportunities to collaborate with non-profit organizations. In addition to medical and health issues I am interested in covering education, human rights and environmental problems.
