Biography: Artist Wendi Schneider illuminates impressions of grace in our vulnerable environment with precious metals. Inspired by a background in painting and art history, she layered oils on her photographs in the 1980s, laying the foundation for her luminous, layered gold leaf prints. Her work is held in permanent collections at New Orleans Museum of Art, Center For Creative Photography, and Memphis Brooks Museum, among others. She is represented by A Gallery For Fine Photography, Arnika Dawkins Gallery, Catherine Couturier Gallery, Galeria Photographic, Rick Wester Fine Art, and Vision Gallery.
