"Ide with calf"
The idea was to photograph the actor with a new born lamb for the publicity shot of a theatre production. When we arrived at the farm that morning for the shoot, the farmers immediately took us to the barn where this calf was born only six hours earlier. Ide, the actor and model happened to be brought up in a farm on the Dutch countryside, so he knew how to hold a newborn calf.
Biography: Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Diana Blok lives in Amsterdam since 1974. She 's been a professional photographer since 1975, specialized in fine art photography.
