USA Nominee Architectural Professional "Carcassone" Pyrenees, France Greg Johnston began his visual journey more than 25 years ago as one of a handful of editorial globetrotting underwater photographers. Through his expertise and keen understanding of the hotel, resort and travel industry, Greg has developed an impressive list of editorial and advertising clients. He brings to every assignment an innovative mind, a creative eye, a love for adventure, an appreciation for color and the technical experience needed to create stunning images. Always a gypsy at heart, the Canadian born artist is known for his dynamic travel and lifestyle imagery. Primarily a location photographer, Greg continues to travel the world for many national publications that have won him many awards and international acclaim. Greg’s book projects include Caribbean Escapes Collection, a compendium of luxury resorts; and Firewise Communities, an architectural photography book for the National Fire Protection Association From advertising to editorial, his photography is continually raising the bar. Greg’s quest for capturing the essence of the travel industry has allowed him to work successfully in a wide range of disciplines – editorial, advertising and stock photography. His quick wit and spontaneity, and easy-going manner allow for a generous dose of fun and excitement that pours from his images. Along with France, his wife and business partner whose ten years in London’s fashion photography industry has helped shape the creative advertising process to evoke emotion of his travel images. Working from his Orlando, Florida studio, splitting time between Europe and the Caribbean, Greg prefers the Honky Tonks of Nashville, Tennessee. |
