Canada Nominee Nature Amateur "Moon Serenade" After days of heavy rain, was blessed by a moon swept serenade. In the last few years, it's been Doris and her Nikon D810 travelling the wilds solo; sidestepping up the tallest dunes in North America, hiking 211 miles with a final step atop the tallest peak in the lower 48, hiking every trail around a live volcano, climbing over fallen trees through ethereal gorges, and rolling out of her truck at 4 in the morning, in icy temps, to hike to the top of lookouts for breathtaking sunrises. Life has taken dramatic twists; bumps with a renowned volcano photographer and an American Nikon Ambassador, has set Doris on a course as a Fine Art Landscape Photographer. |
