"Shrouded"
I was drawn to the Statue of the shrouded figure and noticed that there was a person lying in front of it with a shroud over her face, couldn't help myself, had to capture the image.
Biography: Born in South Africa into a family of repressed artists, my father died
young, but in the short time we shared he introduced me to the love of photography. The fraternal side of the family brought the physical side to art. The maternal side brought imagination. From an early age I was a copy artist. This training brought with it an insight for detail, which resinates in my art today. I am told that I have an ‘eye’, for seeing things that others miss. I find that I am a very emotional orphan who loves nature and all the good things life has to offer. I just depict that beauty in my art.
