My 97 year old grandmaother' hands show the love she gave all of us before her passing.
Biography: My journey in photography began on my 12th birthday when I was given an instamatic camera.
The idea of capturing life's moments and the people I am surrounded by intrigued me so. To be able to look back at a place in time that may otherwise be wiped from memory inspired me to continue learning and discovering what could be done with a simple photograph.
Nostalgia has always been important in my work, and I try to evoke that feeling in my textured images. I am inspired by the vintage look of yesteryear and the color tones of old photographs.
