Spain Nominee Architectural Professional "The sea, the tree and the stone " Guggenheim Bilbao - Spain My name is Tilo Oto and I’m photographer. I’d like to say that Miss Musses knocked on my door to blow me the divine gift of inspiration. But no such miracle occurred, maybe because I never believed in. My career in the world of photography is the result of a hard learning, a continuous job, and a thorough and tenacious work on refining. I took my first steps in the Málaga’s School of visual arts and design, where finally I graduated on Artistic Photography. Later I moved to Madrid to learn new photographic fields in a didactic way at the prestigious Photography school EFTI, while I worked as an assistant of some fashion and advertising photographers in the country’s capital. Back in Málaga I focus on author photo, contemporary photographic developing projects for funding from public and private collections. Placed across the target is for me the pleasure of capturing life, although that life is a dead tree, flood eyes to the moral and health, or a gin’s bottled stained with lipstick kiss and hatred. Photography is a way as any other to birth longings and joys, is a way to capture the sky back to invent a God, an angel, or Laica the dog in its eternal and continuous journey to the stars. Are printed one hundred years of solitude, forty centuries of hope, grounds that has memory so similar to beer color hair sad women have. |
