UK Nominee Fashion Professional "Preen SS18" Documenting Catwalk installation Preen SS18 Flora Starkey -Floral Designer I trained as a press photographer in 1999 and was fortunate enough to get a job straight away on the traditional and prestigious David Dimbleby newspaper Group in South west London, moving from here in 2001 and working for 3 years on both regional and national news stories, for The London Newspaper group . I became freelance in 2004 to develop more of my private clients, having a brief break to enjoy the birth of my 2 boys. I now predominantly work in black and white doing weddings, portraits and my own projects. I take my inspiration from the magnificent Robert Frank, Robert Lebeck, Trent Parke, Martin Parr, Josef Sudak, Sally Mann to name a few! Ambition, to always feel excited and alive by my surroundings, never take things for granted, capture the magnificence and innocence of my children. Love creating! |
