Biography: Hilaneh Mahmoudi was born in Iran. She studied mathematics and education in Canada. Since photographing, she has worked on assignments through NGOs in countries such as Iran, Nepal, Turkey and south Africa. She has also done some international
editorial work and won a few international awards in the field.
