Biography: Wendi Schneider is a visual artist illuminating impressions of grace in our vulnerable environment with photography and precious metals. Inspired by a background in painting and art history and the lush beauty of the South, she began painting photographs in the early '80s, and is now gilding translucent prints. Exhibited, published and collected internationally, her work is held in permanent collections at New Orleans Museum of Art, Center For Creative Photography, and Memphis Brooks Museum, among others. She is represented by A Gallery For Fine Photography and Catherine Couturier Gallery.
