Belgium Nominee Children of the World Amateur "Frauke Playing Music" Frauke Playing Music in these hard times Being fascinated by the magic of analog memories appearing in a chemical bath in the red light room i soon began my photographic experience thanks to a photojournalist living right next door at the age of 8. Now, at the age of 45 i love portrait images which are from the sense of light, color and atmosphere that pulls you back to the old painter masters style, not only the beloved Rembrandt styled lightning but even the more dramatic tinted portrait lightning. That, together with my love for taking pictures of children and teenagers (next to my after work wedding coverages) brings my view on portraits without oil, brushes or varnish but it will make you immediately wonder how my image would look like with them... |
