Biography: Catalin Niculae (Nick) Ruxandu was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania and he studied painting in the early 1980s. During the same period, he took the first photos with the family camera, a Smena 8M.
After settling in Canada at Montréal, Nick decided to broaden his horizons, so he studied Commercial Photography at Dawson College.
Nick Ruxandu is a member of the Canadian Association for Photographic Art and a Trained Judge, a member of the Photographic Society of America and he offers freelance photo and video services.
