Germany Nominee Portrait Professional "yolanda brown #1" Live at the BIX Club - Stuttgart Wolf-Peter Steinheißer Photographer & Filmmaker | www.wpsteinheisser.com Wolf-Peter Steinheißer was born in 1965 in Sonneberg, a small town in the Franconian part of Thuringia, Germany. His passion for photography began early in life, inspired by his father, a dedicated amateur photographer. At the age of ten, he received his first camera – from then on, looking through the viewfinder became a way of life. After graduating from high school in 1983, he studied Audiovisual Media at the Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart (1990–1995, Diploma). Since then, he has worked as a freelance photographer and film producer on a wide range of projects across Germany and abroad. His work spans editorial, commercial and personal projects, appearing in books, magazines, exhibitions, and film productions. He also shares his expertise as a lecturer in film and photography. From his studio in Ludwigsburg, near Stuttgart, he develops and produces visual content for national and international clients. His scope includes both documentary and staged productions – always with the aim of telling authentic visual stories. His photographic signature is reduced, authentic, and visually powerful – always seeking to create images that move and resonate. As a person, he is passionate, curious, and rarely ruffled. He enjoys cooking and good wine, regularly engages in sports, is an avid reader, music enthusiast and collector, and loves to travel. His favorite moments are those spent with family and close friends.
