"Walking On Thin Ice"
Hiking at Thórsmörk, looking back at the snow falling, while my friend walks gingerly on the thin ice.
Biography: I utilize only the existing natural light in any scene. My preferred photographic medium is black and white.
The motivation for my portraiture is my love of dance, jazz and classical music and my deep respect and admiration for the performers.
Creativity and beauty of nature motivates my landscapes. Natural lighting, clouds and water moving at different speeds, contrasted with static scenery, create dramatic landscape images.
The intent of my art is for the viewer to travel into the photographic scene and absorb the emotions, energy, serenity and message the people or nature emits.
