Biography: Lucas Garcete (b. 2000, Ciudad del Este) is a Spanish visual artist born in Paraguay, working primarily with black-and-white photography. His work employs silhouette, controlled light, and digital manipulation to construct symbolic images in which the human figure is reduced to form. Through restrained monochrome compositions, he explores themes of absence, liminality, and transformation, creating images that emphasize atmosphere, contrast, and visual cohesion.
