Biography: Yiorgos Michael is a self-taught visual artist and poet based in Miami and Cyprus. His photographic essays, inspired by personal experiences, explore themes of aging, identity, and social norms. He combines intentional imagery with moments of serendipity, blending the representational with the abstract and the real with the mythical. This creates a compelling tension between ambiguity and clarity, drawing viewers deeper into the narrative. His poetry also reflects this tension, exploring themes of aging, loneliness, loss, love, and hope.
