"Under the Beam"
Biography: Kenichiro Tsukada is a Tokyo-based fine-art photographer who narrates urban life through high-contrast black-and-white imagery. His signature bodies of work—“NOIR TOKYO,” “Moments of Solitude,” and “NOSTALGIC JAPAN”—explore the tension between motion and stillness, as well as the fragments of memory scattered throughout Japan’s cityscapes.
In 2025 he was named Black & White Category Winner of the Year (Professional) at the London Photography Awards, adding to 5 Gold and 5 Silver medals at the MUSE Photography Awards and a Bronze at TIFA.
