Sonia Melnikova-Raich
USA Nominee Architectural Amateur "Transamerica" Series of photographs with the emphasis on the triangular form as the object or composition. Sonia Melnikova-Raich was born in Moscow, where she trained as an artist and architect, and has lived in San Francisco since 1987. She is a recipient of prestigious photography awards, had several solo shows, and had her works presented in many local, national, and international exhibits — including the De Young Museum Open 2023 — and featured in professional photography journals. She is included in 100 Hot Photographers by Your Daily Photograph, a project of Duncan Miller Gallery, an internationally recognized gallery specializing in 20th- and 21st-century fine art photography. |
