Biography: Heinz Baumann was born in Switzerland, in 1955. After his studies in philosophy, psychology and fine art, which he finished with a doctorate, he started his career as a photographer. Since 1995 he has been working in his own studio in Zurich, specializing in commercial and fine art photography.
Heinz has received numerous international awards for his work and as a still life and fine art photographer he likes to explore a broad range of photographic subject matter. His aim is to create a strong visual statement in and take the viewer beyond reality, to express his personal vision.
