USA Honorable Mention Abstract Amateur "Light &Motion-1" My name is Gerald McDowell and I was born and raised in Evansville, IN. USA I immensely enjoy the competition and viewing other Photographers work be it amateur or professional. As for my inspiration for learning more I choose to listen and view videos from the early days of "Camera Work." I would highly recommend Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen, and Paul Strand as a great place to start to understanding photography. I know they have been a great inspiration for me. When I have time I like to view different webinars on Lighting, Equipment, Composition, and other basic photography tips. |
