USA Nominee Fashion Amateur "Shadow Tats" Shadows created by sun streaming through the ornate parasol seem to tattoo the woman's skin Aesthetic, eclectic, clever, surprising, and sometimes quirky. These are words that best describe my photography and me. I often produce novel, high-impact photos. My passion is to create images that challenge perceptions and pose further questions. I achieve this by immortalizing the eye-catching and seldom-seen over the traditional and recognizable. Some of my joys include making unconventional cropping decisions and capturing movement, glorious color, and costumed people. Noteworthy are my multi-panel images (diptychs and triptychs) that tell tales, make comparisons, and visually depict the passing of time. |
