The extension of suspended time through bulb exposure and multiple exposure.

Zero Style is an artistic concept developed by Shogo Shimiya. By sustaining the moment when an image begins to coalesce into form, it explores a realm that exists prior to the fixation of being into a stable and definitive shape. The framework of Zero Style is composed of five interconnected series: BLAZING, MYSTERIOUS, CRONUS, SHIJIMA, and BRAGI. Each is grounded in its own philosophy and expressed through a corresponding Field Light Painting. 20th Black & White Spider Awards: Two works nominated, with one receiving an award. 17th Black & White Spider Awards: Two works nominated across two categories. In 1998, Shogo Shimiya was selected as an Invited Artist for Biennale Interieur (Courtrai Design Biennale Interieur) in Kortrijk, Belgium, marking his participation in a major international biennial recognized for its influence in contemporary design and art. An artist whose oeuvre is composed of four major series: BLAZING, a Burning Field Light Painting series based on Burnism and rooted in Otakiage, a Yamato tradition spanning over 1,300 years; CRONUS, a Time Field Light Painting series based on Timeism, exploring the nature of time; MYSTERIOUS, a Bokeh Field Light Painting series based on Bokeism, unfolding through bokeh as its central motif; and SHIJIMA, a series dedicated to Profound Silence.
