Terry Wild
USA 2nd Place - Merit of Excellence Photojournalism Professional "Arthritis" Terry's entire career has been devoted to photography. He resides in Lexington, Kentucky, and owns Terry Wild Stock, Inc., a picture stock library specializing in image placements and limited edition print sales. His career as a commercial photographer commenced in 1971 with the founding of The Wild Studio, in Williamsport, PA. Terry Wild is a graduate of Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pennsylvania (1968- BA English) and the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California (1971- BFA Photography). His work is known nationally, collected, and published internationally. He taught photography at Lycoming College from 1974-1982 at which point he developed the growth of The Terry Wild Studio, a full service photography studio specializing in editorial and commercial services to educational, financial, and industrial sectors. Terry’s photography spans a variety of styles and disciplines, ranging from regional and national landscapes, flora and nature studies, to editorial and sociological commentary. “Photography has always been my second language.†he says, “The natural and social landscape have been my theme, and form, texture, design and composition- my vocabulary.†|
