I am attracted by the timeless and ever-changing place where the sea washes across the edge of land.
Biography: Australian fine art photographer, Paul Foley, believes a photograph isn’t truly real until you can touch it. His photography witnesses his fascination with light and shadow, documenting both natural and human experiences.
Paul picked up a camera at age 16 which led to a 35-year corporate photography career. Paul now photographs unburdened by corporate mood boards.
His work has been recognised in numerous prizes and awards in Sydney, Glasgow, Tokyo, Newcastle, Canberra, China and has been exhibited individually and collaboratively.
Paul lives in Newcastle, Australia.
