Dayle Ann Clavin
Austria Nominee Photojournalism Amateur "belgium beach" Resume Dayle Ann Clavin Born in Los Angeles, California, Dayle Ann Clavin studied music in Salzburg, taught classical flute at the Landesmusikschulwerk Upper Austria and performed chamber music. She began to photograph in the early 1990�s inspired by the school of Straight Photography, Ansel Adams and the zone system. In the following years she acquired knowledge and experience and exhibited her work in several galleries in Austria, including the Nikon Gallery, Vienna, Pan Optikim Gallery, Burgenland, 44iger Haus, Leonding Linz, and the Anton Bruckner Zentrum, Ansfelden. In 2001 she graduated with honors in fine art photography at the Prager, Fotoschule, Schloss Weinburg, Kefermarkt, Upper Austria. Dayle Ann Clavin won several awards in international photography competitions, including first prizes in the Prix de la Photographie de Paris. She has been nominated each year over the last 7 years by the jury of The Black and White Spider Awards International Photography Competition. Her images have been included in the book �The World�s greatest Black and White Photography, Vol.1�, a collection of photographs from the Black and White Spider Awards. In June 2012 dayle won the "Coordinator's Prize" in the International Photography Competition of the San Diego County Fair among over 3000 entries. In August 2012 she received the 2nd prize(Judges Award) and Best of Category Award in the Artists Haven Gallery International Photography Competition, Fort lauderdale , Florida, USA. In June 2013, Dayle won second prize in the International Photography Competition if the San Diego County Fair in the category of architecture and city scenes. 2014, Dayle was awarded the EP Qualification by the European federation of photographers,(FEP). In October 2014 She was a Nominee in the categories of Fine Art and fashion at the Black and White Spider Awards International Photography Competition. In November 2014, she received a Silver Award in the creative Competition Category of the WPPI( Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Second Half Competition. In 2015 she received the FEP Wedding Excellence Award at the FEP Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2105. |
