USA Nominee Portrait Professional "Newborn" Often times we can't see what is right in front of us and we find our passion where we least expect to. As a child, I always had a camera. As I grew up I photographed everything I saw. It was always a part of my life. I never thought of it as a career, it was always just an extension of my personality. I studied theatre and film at New York University and The London Academy of Performing Arts. I came to Los Angeles, from New York to pursue my dreams in acting .As a struggling actor, I often took headshots of friends to make ends meet. Then one day I photographed some children and my world changed. With my lens I captured the purest of images, children full of hope and innocence, playfulness and pain. I had found my calling. I have since photographed children from all ends of the world, from Cambodia thru India thru Europe and Mexico. My dream is to continue this journey and seek out the beauty and innocence of children from every country and every culture. |
