Taili has become a seasoned veteran in the unique special sub-specialty of shooting portraits of celebrity award winners and presenters backstage at Film/TV Awards Show Events and Festivals, where portraits must be captured within moments or minutes (typically 5 minutes or less, most often in just a minute or two.) Taili's approach has always been to try and elevate these portraits to the level of portraiture taken at individual, longer sittings. Taili was born in Seoul, Korea; grew up in Dallas, Texas; graduated from Columbia University in New York; and is now based in southern California.
