Rakesh Sahai India Nominee Wildlife Professional "SHARING" While shooting at the riverside in winters of the Corbett National Park (India), the sight of a diving pied kingfisher shifted my attention in anticipation of something interesting to ensue. I quickly tilted my camera up and shot the bird feeding a fish to another of its mate in the backdrop of the sky! Their swift movement did not even allow me to change the shooting exposure. Such rare sights make the long waits in the jungle completely worth it! On later thoughts, it becomes evident how basic emotions of loving and sharing remain the same amongst both humans and animals. |
