Biography: Tim Buchman earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University in Athens, then a post-graduate degree from the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology in Dayton in 1980. He has gained a major reputation for his stunning photographs of historic buildings in books like North Carolina Architecture (with Catherine W. Bishir) published in 1990 with a new edition in 2005. Los Angeles architectural historian Thomas S.
