Biography: Paul Kennedy has spent more than 40 years as a full-time professional photographer. He began his career as a stringer, for the Associated Press, in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1979, he began shooting assignments for Sports Illustrated and in December of 1980, became a Contract Photographer for SI. In 1984 he served as an official photographer for the Los Angeles Olympic Games.
