Biography: I’ve been chasing the excellent light with my cameras for more than 30 years.
My photographs succeed most when I focus on light and form, clearing from consciousness the identities of the objects in the viewfinder.
My photos are found in the collections of those who appreciate the revitalizing power of natural scenes found deep in the woods, who connect with the simple elegance painted by fog, mist and snow, or who feel a chill sharing the capture of wildlife in their natural setting.
I find my themes mostly in the woods and trails of New York and Maine, the coast of New England...
