Biography: Mari Queiroz was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and was raised between her hometown, Rio de Janeiro and New York.
She studied Fine Arts at the School of Comunication and Arts, University of São Paulo. With an eye trained for composition and form, she eventually turned her attention to behind the camera and soon made the transition to photography, attending classes at the School of visual Arts and the International Center of Photography, in New York City.
