Born on 1981 in Manila, Philippines; Mario Cardenas is a self-taught artist who loves painting, sketching, 2D and 3D designs, and drawing. He started photography in late 2009 and immediately recognized it as an excellent medium for expressing his creativity. For Mario, photography is a vehicle for adventure; it permits him to meet people from all walks of life, visit remote places, and immerse himself in challenging and unfamiliar environments. Currently, Mario works as an architect based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab. He enjoys competing in photography competitions and has received multi-awards for his works in local and international arenas. He hopes that participation in such competitions and exhibitions would help his images reach farther, making his pieces accessible to a wider audience. Never to rest on his laurels, Mario is still striving to learn and hone the craft that he has grown to love. |
