Biography: Formally trained in Anthropology (PhD U Arizona) and Medicine (MD U Kansas), Susan was a Gynecologist in private practice since 1989, retiring in the summer of 2011. She holds advanced Certificates in Digital Photography from University of New Mexico Continuing Education’s Digital Arts Program. She rapidly developed interests in Maternity, Newborn, Infant, and Family photography, as well as “just about everything else.” Her inspiration comes from the magical light, long history and prehistory, and diverse cultures of her adopted state, New Mexico, "Land of Enchantment."
