Paul Kennedy
USA 1st Place - Outstanding Achievement Sport Professional "Swim Start" Backstroke start at the California State JC Championships Paul Kennedy has spent more than 40 years as a full-time professional photographer. He began his career as a stringer, for the Associated Press, in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1979, he began shooting assignments for Sports Illustrated and in December of 1980, became a Contract Photographer for SI. In 1984 he served as an official photographer for the Los Angeles Olympic Games. Following the '84 Olympics, he began pursuing corporate assignments and has spent more than 29 years shooting location corporate work throughout the US, Canada and Central America. His assignments have taken him as far north as the Arctic Circle and as far south as Namibia, on the west coast of southern Africa. Originally from Connecticut, he and his wife, Jane have lived in Orange County, California, for thirty-two years. |
