Biography: Alison M. Jones is a conservation photographer who has documented sub-Sahara Africa since 1985. Seeing that rivers and lakeshores are the continent's ribbons of life, she founded NO WATER NO LIFE. This nonprofit combines photography and science to publicize the vulnerability of the planet's freshwater resources. Her work is seen in magazines, books, TV and is used in her workshops, lectures and exhibits.
