USA Honorable Mention Sport Amateur "Heart of a Runner" This runner did not finish first (or second...or third)... but he gave it all he had. My lifelong passion for photography was fueled as a college student where I used my beloved Nikon FM to capture … a ‘spirited’ campus life. My artistic style is to use natural light as the foundation of a great photograph. I believe “light is Mother Nature’s paintbrushâ€. My photo expeditions often include rising at 3:30am to ensure I am in the right place as a new day awakens and unveils its glory. I’ve photographed many of earth’s most beautiful destinations on all 7 continents, including the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Tuscany, Serengeti, Great Wall, Great Barrier Reef, Antarctica, and the Taj Mahal. |
