Antti Viitala is a Finnish-born commercial - and fine art photographer based in Cape Town and Helsinki. Working globally, preferring to shoot on location with available light pays homage to the craft photographers of the past. Years spent in darkroom have left Antti with a knowledge and love for Black and White and analogic film photography. Finding his inspiration from the old masters and by keeping a firm grasp on modern technology he allows the finest of nuances to be elicited. Antti has been selected five times among the 200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide by Lurzer´s Archive. He is a full member of Association of Photograpers, London, UK and he has received plenty of different awards in the industry over the past 25 years as a professional photographer.
