Biography: After joining the Los Angeles Collegian Newspaper in 1976, Washington became the photo editor in the spring of 1978. While at City College, Washington worked for producer Hal Davis of Motown Records. In 1980 he moved to his home of Kansas City, and entered The KC Art Institute. There he studied fine arts photography and art history. While living in KC, he joined the Staff of The KC Star Magazine, Charlie Parker Acd for the Arts, and The Federal Reserve Bank. Received a B.S. in Theology, and presently teaches while perfecting his art which can be seen at AnAmericanPhotographer.com.
